"Blancpain: a tradition of innovation": an exhibition presented in exclusivity in Singapore

On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, Blancpain has recently presented a temporary exhibition dedicated to its tradition of innovation and its collections, located in the prestigious shopping mall "Marina Bay Sands" – one of Singapore's most iconic architectural symbols. During several days, the Blancpain universe is presented to the public by means of windows and explanatory panels, which have been set up on one of the main bridges at the central hall entrance.

The inauguration of this exhibition took place during a cocktail evening, which gave guests the opportunity to discover Blancpain's famous Traditional Chinese Calendar. Resulting from five years of research and development, this emblematic model has the particularity to associate the fundamental principles of the age-old lunisolar Chinese calendar - based on the lunar cycle – with the date according to the Gregorian calendar – based on the solar day. This year, the Manufacture has unveiled a new limited edition of this Complication featuring the pig, issued in a 50-piece series housed in a platinum case. This model is also available in an unlimited red gold version.

The exhibition "Blancpain, a tradition of innovation" is open to the public until Sunday, February 17th 2019.
