Blancpain, winner in the 9th edition of the CN Traveler Awards

The 9th edition of the CN Traveler Awards was hosted on May 4, at the Hotel Ritz in Madrid. Highlighting the evening were the awards given for travel excellence. Blancpain was honored with the prize "Best Travel Accessory" for its Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe BOC II. This limited edition Flyback chronograph features Blancpain’s high frequency column wheel chronograph movement fitted into a blue ceramic case, with a blue ceramic bezel and meteor gray dial. Elegance, refinement and sport all combined making for an ideal travel accessory.

There is an added dimension to the winning timepiece. For each timepiece sold in this 250-piece limited edition, an amount of 1000 Euro will be added to Blancpain's regular donations in support of scientific expeditions.

The award was delivered by the painter and influencer Lulú Figueroa Domecq, and was received by the Brand Manager of Blancpain España, Lara Bartolomé, before an audience of 500 persons, among whom were the President of Conde Nast España, Javier Pascual del Olmo, the director of the magazine Conde Nast Traveler, Sandra del Río, the top model Bar Refaeli, the designer Angel Schelesser or the three-Michelin-star chef Quique Dacosta, among others.
