Blancpain opens a new Shop-in-Shop at Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo, Japan

The new Shop-in-Shop was opened on the 4th floor of Matsuya Ginza which faces Chuo-dori, the main shopping street in the Ginza area, and is home to many department stores, restaurants and cafes.

It reflects Blancpain’s proud history and its commitment to the expression “Innovation is Our Tradition.” Crafted by a skilled cabinet-maker from the Vallée de Joux, the interior design is imbued with the regional heritage and the Blancpain horological know-how perpetuated for more than 270 years. Noble woodwork, refined moldings, along with pure streamlined furniture and displays all combine to ensure visitors enjoy a warm and cozy aesthetic.

Throughout its history, Blancpain has distinguished itself by its capacity to develop exceptional movements that have made their mark on successive eras. In-house development and production of the components and tools; manual assembly of each movement by a single watchmaker; refined and entirely hand-crafted finishing right the way through to the tiniest hidden details: Blancpain's strength lies in its ability to create timepieces that are both innovative and respectful of the noble Swiss watchmaking tradition.

The wide range of products on display includes creations from the bold L-evolution Collection, legendary Fifty Fathoms diver’s watches, as well as classic Villeret timepieces and the elegant Women Collection.
