Blancpain and Michelin Guide bestow the New York 2021 Young Chef Award to winner Suyoung Park

In its role as global partner of the Michelin Guide, Blancpain was honoured to support the 2021 edition of the Michelin Guide New York, which unveiled, through a series of social media announcements, the list of this year's awarded restaurants, stretching from the Big Apple all the way to the Westchester County area.

On this occasion, Suyoung Park was the recipient of the Blancpain Young Chef Award, the talented executive chef of two-starred restaurant Jungsik. This culinary venue, located in New York and Seoul, specialises in contemporary Korean fine dining.

Chef Suyoung Park first started her cooking career as a Sous Chef at Jungsik restaurant in Seoul. In 2018, she attained the opportunity to join the New York Jungsik team and within a year achieved the title of Executive Chef. Her experience across two countries, cultures and kitchens reflect in her immense creativity and boldly flavoured dishes.
