The Blancpain Manufacture and the world’s greatest hotels share the same values of hospitality and an impeccable quality of service. It is therefore natural that Blancpain should enjoy a privileged relationship with the Leading Hotels of the World. A partner since 2005, every year during the Annual Convention the Manufacture honors the world’s best establishments and the exceptional people that work in them.

During the Leading Hotels of the World Annual Convention in Vienna on 22 November 2014, Blancpain awarded prizes to the winners in various categories: the Member of the Year Award, the Happy Guest Award, the Remarkably Uncommon Award and the Leading Legend Award. The winners received an Ultraplate watch from the Villeret collection engraved with the inscription "Best Hotelier of the Year 2014". The classic lines of this watch are evocative of the authentic values of traditional watchmaking. Its double-stepped case, clear dial with Roman numerals, and restrained[NE1] esthetics express the essential with a timeless elegance.

The Member of the Year Award honors the most committed and active member of the Leading Hotel of the World. This year the award was presented to Ruth Jones, Marketing & Development EAM at the Ritz in London (UK).
