Blancpain and Christopher Coutanceau
For more than 30 years, Blancpain cultivates special ties with the greatest award-winning chefs, encompassing more than 100 Michelin stars among its circle of friends, past and present. The Brand now has the pleasure of continuing its quest for excellence alongside Christopher Coutanceau, a three-Michelin-starred chef behind the restaurant bearing his name in La Rochelle, situated in the southwest of France.
An advocate for sustainable fishing and waste prevention, Christopher Coutanceau meticulously selects the finest seafood, taking care to never serve species that are in breeding season or endangered. With this approach, the chef wishes to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable fishing among the gastronomic community itself as well as its guests. An effort for which he was awarded the Michelin Guide 2019 Sustainable Gastronomy emblem.
