Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms projected on Burj Khalifa in collaboration with partner Rivoli Group

On Thursday 21 October, visitors circulating in downtown Dubai enjoyed a captivating immersion into Blancpain's diver's watch collection and underwater universe thanks to a giant-size video clip projection on the over 800m-high Burj Khalifa. Blancpain, which is present in Dubai with two Boutiques and at several Rivoli Prestige stores, enjoys significant historical links with the ocean, having launched the world's first modern diving watch, the Fifty Fathoms, in 1953.

The Fifty Fathoms, a mainstay of Blancpain's watch offerings, embodies the Brand's passion for the underwater world. Its birth marked the starting point of Blancpain's collaborations with the ocean community, which have typified the 70 years since. The latest additions to the collection are extraordinary technical achievements as well as a tribute to the pioneers who made scuba diving possible. It is their dedication which opened up whole new vistas for underwater exploration and continue to inspire Blancpain in using innovative materials and new technical solutions in order to fulfil the most sophisticated demands.
