Blancpain opens the doors of its first Malaysian boutique


On October 23rd, Blancpain celebrated the opening of its first boutique in Malaysia, located within the luxurious Suria KLCC commercial complex, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Ideally situated on the main ground floor hall of the building, this new shop extends over an 80 square metre sales area offering a wide choice of models from the brand's collections.



On this occasion, numerous guests – assembling influential local media, VIP clients, collectors and members of watchmaking clubs – were personally welcomed by Mr. Marc Junod, Vice President & Head of Sales, as well as Ms. Emmy Tellier, Regional Brand Manager of South-East Asia. Following official speeches, the evening was marked by a private concert by the Malaysian jazz singer, Sheila Majid.

The design of this new Blancpain boutique was created to provide a particularly convivial and authentic atmosphere, which represents a signature feature for all the brand's stores around the world. The interior furniture made from polished cherry woodwork evokes Blancpain's workshops in the Vallée de Joux, where the tradition of fine watchmaking is perpetuated according to ancestral artistic techniques. This 280-year heritage is closely interlinked with constant innovations that drive the Fifty Fathoms diving watches, the classic Villeret timepieces as well as the feminine Women models.
