This is why we cultivate privileged relationships with the greatest starred chefs, with our friends totalling more than 100 Michelin stars between them.
It all began in 1986, well before the current enthusiasm for exceptional gastronomy, when we presented Frédy Girardet with a specially engraved watch to celebrate his winning of the "Best Chef in the World” award. Three years later, we reiterated our commitment when he and the late Paul Bocuse and Joël Robuchon were designated “Chefs of the Century” by the famous Gault&Millau guide. We honoured them by offering them each an engraved watch as a souvenir of this achievement. Since then, Blancpain’s circle of friends has grown; it now includes new celebrities in international gastronomy, such as the chefs Marc Haeberlin, Michel Troisgros, Edgard Bovier, Dani García, Martín Berasategui and Holger Bodendorf.
We are also the partner of prestigious hotel networks, such as Relais & Châteaux and Leading Hotels of the World, and we support the Bocuse d'Or Suisse competition and the Auction Napa Valley, the most prestigious charity wine auction in the world.
