The high-powered alliance between two legends – reveals the Blancpain speed experience
Blancpain, the world oldest watch brand has joined force with Lamborghini, the most iconic car manufacturer. Both brands enjoy the fame of pioneering spirit and magnificent mechanical expertise, Blancpain even earned the reputation of “No Quartz watch” in the industry. The alliance between Blancpain & Lamborghini reflects the ultimate perfection in technology and exterior designing, it is a natural fusion of tradition and originality.

Blancpain became the partner of Lamborghini since 2009, it is also the brand sponsor of The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. In the following 2010, Blancpain further entitled itself as FIA GT1 World Championship official timepiece in which Lamborghini dominate the tracks. After the successful participation of The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo in 2009 and 2010, President & CEO of Blancpain, Marc A. Hayek will join the above 2 top level motor races representing Reiter Engineering team. It marks the outstanding position of Blancpain in the racing world and the cross-over collaboration between luxury brands.

To push the boundary with full confidence, Blancpain will establish the Blancpain Endurance Series and join ADAC GT Masters as official partner.

Challenge the speed limit - Blancpain Watches to be the Official Timing Partner to the FIA GT1 World Championship

April 15th 2010, SRO Motorsports Group (SRO), promoters of the new FIA GT1 World Championship and Blancpain watches announced that they had reached an agreement which will see the prestigious Swiss watch brand become the exclusive and Official Timing Partner for the new FIA GT1 World Championship.
The FIA GT1 World Championship will visit 10 countries on four continents and features iconic marks such as Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford, Lamborghini, Maserati and Nissan.

GT1 World Championship race on tracks in China

Sep. 4th, the 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship will remove its veil at Erdos International Circuit, the following challenge will take place at Beijing Jinggang Motor World at Sep. 11th. The official timing partner, Blancpain brand will receive live exposure on all live feeds including on TV feeds around the world, track-side exposure will also be available at all rounds of the new world championship. It is the first time in Blancpain's 275 year history that the brand has an official association with a world class motorsport event.
