Blancpain's Excellence Rewarded

Scarcely two and a half years after opening in Geneva, Blancpain’s first Swiss boutique has just been awarded the Trophée d’Excellence, the first and best prize awarded after a survey by the Swiss economic magazine “Bilan” in association with the Reflection Marketing agency, which specializes in the customer experience. Out of 35 watch, jewellery and luxury clothing boutiques on the Rue du Rhône, Boutique Blancpain earned the best overall score with an average of 4.9 out of 5, placing it at the top of the list.

Marc A. Hayek, Blancpain’s president and Nadia Constantin, Boutique’s manager are pleased and honoured to have received the Trophée d’Excellence for the Geneva boutique. In fact, continual efforts are made to perfect the quality of service offered in the boutiques, and the saleswomen are regularly trained at headquarters in order to perfect their technical knowledge through contact with the watchmakers and to absorb the brand’s philosophy.

At the Blancpain Boutique on the Rue du Rhône, Geneva’s most prestigious shopping mile where the survey was conducted, the mystery shoppers were greeted with friendliness and respect. “As soon as customers walk in the door, the staff takes their coats, seats them and offers a cup of coffee. The saleswomen truly listen to the customers so as to better advise them,” analyzes Vincent Duebi, Reflection Marketing’s head of development for French-speaking Switzerland. “This is unfortunately not the case in many other boutiques, where the sales assistants did not have convincing arguments for their products and rarely offered the customer a logical choice.”

Like the Brassus Manufacture nestled at the end of Joux Lake, the atmosphere in the Blancpain boutiques reflects the spirit of authenticity and the quest for perfection that motivate the Manufacture’s watchmakers and are perfectly illustrated in this newly received Trophée d’Excellence.
